Wall mounting a TV

I know it's possible and I don't doubt that I wasn't able to find an existing thread with the answer to my question: has anyone mounted a TV to the wall of their older Airstream, between the windows in the aft living area?

I would like to hang my wife's 27" iMac (21 lbs.) from a VESA mount like this. I am assuming that there's a load-bearing beam/rib centered between the windows that will hold the weight fine with nothing more than two hefty pan-head screws, and I plan on taking the iMac down when on the road as precaution. Still, I will feel better taking a drill to the wall if folks in the community can affirm that I'm not in for an expensive disappointment. Thanks!

I kept digging in the time it took the moderators to approve this thread (a few days) and found another thread that partially addressed my question. I've contacted Airstream to see whether I can't purchase the mounting board pictured. Failing that, I think I'll try to mount the iMac on a desk side monitor mount such as this, attached the the cabinet top (reinforced) running along the port wall. This particular model has a quick release that will let me pop the iMac (or any TV/monitor) out for travel.

I am still interested in any successful examples of wall mounting, though. Thanks!
