A couple of years ago, I posted in the FB group about upgrading the TV in our 2017 Intl Sig 30 to a Samsung N5300 32” 1080p set. I know a few others have done the same.
I’ve since raised the TV about 6” and moved it closer to the wall by about 1.5”. This made it way easier to see the TV while someone is sitting at the dinette and being closer to the wall just looks better with the larger set.
This past week, I finally installed the speaker panel made by Fusion (RV-FS402B) that I bought more than a year ago. I’m hoping this will make dialogue and such much clearer during TV viewing. I’m driving this speaker by a Fusion subwoofer (MS-AB206) that I replaced the factory sub with as it has a built-in 2-channel amp for extra speakers. I was able to run the speaker wire down the wall to behind the converter, then fish it through the water heater cabinet and along the wall under the dinette with some gray surface mount raceway to where the subwoofer sits. It’s hardly noticeable since Airstream already has a gray plastic mounding that runs along where the wall and floor intersect.
While I was at it, I also swapped out all of the white wall plates and plugs for black. I’m really happy with the outcome.
