TV recommendations

Would like to install a 24" smart TV in our 2023 FC. Looking for recommendations for brands that have same wire connections as provided by AS.

Purchased the Insignia brand but it has a corded plug, not the power port.

Maybe I'm being a Luddite, but a 'corded plug' is bad?

We have a 2019 FC 25 RBT. Both TV's supplied from AS were not Smart TV's. We put a Firestick on each one. Perfect so far. They work so well and offer so much free content that we put Firesticks on our 3 home TV's. Excellent product.

There used to be Insignia TVs with the external power brick (power converter) that stepped down household 120v power to 12vdc power. I installed one of these in the bedroom and was able to to replace the power brick with a 12vdc direct plug-in cord and use the 12v outlet in the bedroom.

For the living room I couldn't find one of these, so I installed an Amazon smart TV which cost about $125. It plugs into an outlet powered by the inverter so we can watch when we're dry camping. Doesn't use much power.

Airstream switched to 12v dc TVs, the way Airstream does things it's possible they stopped putting 120v outlets within 6' of the TV.

Another way to do this is to use a very small (but adequately sized) inverter to power the TV. You can buy some very compact inverters intended for use from the cigarette lighter outlet in a car which have enough capacity to run a TV. This can converter any TV into a 12vdc TV.
