It should be close to it. Has a 12V cigarette lighter plug in it. The little black button is easy to miss. Push it and a small green light should come on signaling that things are powered up.

You should be able to follow the cable from the television back to it.

My 2012 Flying Cloud did not come with a 12V outlet in the TV antenna booster wall plate, just the button. Regardless, as 1973Argosy said, just follow the antenna wire from the back of the TV.

Note, if you have two TV's, only one should have the booster.

TV Antenna problems

After the factory in Jackson Center swapped out old UHF antenna for new Bat wing antenna it stopped working. The power light does not come on. Have heard that amphitheater is in antenna head and if power isn't there amp does not work. Any suggestions?

You have to get that green light on. When I pulled out my power/antenna panel (the one with the switch on it) it brushed the trailer skin and blew a fuse. Have you checked the appropriate (or all) fuses?

Have not looked for fuse, where would it be? Have 12 volt circuit breakers, not sure where fuses are located.

I just assumed from the trailer in your signature that there were fuses, not circuit breakers. My 2001 Safari had fuses, my 2002 Classic has circuit breakers. If everything else 12V works, that may not be the problem.

My coax cable connection point with the antenna/cable switch has a cigarette lighter socket. If yours has one, check to see that it is live. That would mean there is 12V to the panel and either the circuit board for the cable/antenna switch is not connected or is bad. If you pull the plate, turn off your 12V with the Battery Disconnect or USE/STORE switch, and to be sure, unplug your shore power. Some trailers will still have 12V power with the DISCONNECT off or USE/STORE in STORE and shore power on.

Pulled panel and everything is connected, 12 volt lighter outlet has pwr, didn't disconnect shore pwr or turn off battery. Ordered new panel, hope that is issue. Will disconnect battery and turn off shore pwr when installing new panel.

I didn't say why to kill the 12 volts, but you got away with it. When I pulled mine live the 12 volt terminal touched the inside skin, sparked, and blew a fuse.

I hate "autocorrect" too, but it sure produces some amusing results.

Replaced panel and light came on, raised antenna and everything works. Must have left amp turned on and burned it out. Turned battery off before replacing. Have new break camp item when using antenna "Turn amp pwr off". Many Thanks for suggestions.

I have a Winegard Model RS-0306 RoadStarTM omnidirectional antenna with reception ranging from good to poor depending on were we go. Is there an upgrade to this antenna that would improve my reception without drilling a hole in the ceiling or having to crank to get the best reception?
