Tv. No signal

I have a 2019 sport with standard cd/dvd player. Just started having an issue. When playing dvd, and setting tv to hdmi source, I get no signal on tv.

I can see the DVD playing on the player and can hear the dvd via the speakers. When I disconnect the hdmi cable at either the tv or the DVD player I see the message check signal cable.

We are on the road, so I don’t have all the duplicate cables or testing abilities I would at home. I understand this is a first world problem, was hoping someone would have a quick idea.

Well, I fixed it myself. But for others who may this issue, this is what I found. The converter box that switches it from component video to hdmi video requires usb power. The audio runs through the radio to the speakers.

The cable that connects the usb power from the AS to this box had jiggled loose. Once I reseeded the cable from USB power to the box it worked immediately.

Thanks, Jeff. 2019 Sport 22 here as well, just started having the same issue. Do you take the front off the box that houses the JVC DVD player/radio to get to the USB power cable, or is it on/near the back of the TV?

... and I figured it out. Both connections seemed solid, but after I unplugged and replugged, the DVD player works perfectly. I'm out in the middle of nowhere with nothing but books and DVDs for entertainment, so this made for a relaxing evening. Thank you, Jeff!
