TV Antenna - '79 Airstream

I need to replace the TV antenna system on this trailer. Does anyone know how to do such a thing? It doesn't come off from the outside, so there must be a way to unhook everything from the inside. Need a clue of some kind here!! And, since I am posting, I have tried to find the Airstream Inspection report - have searched and looked around. Could someone give me a clue on where to find it?

Thanks for your help.

Here is a link that should help you. Some parts are still available if you decide to try and repair it:

I just removed mine. You need to go up on the roof and drill out the rivets. It will leave a large hole that needs plugging. I think you can just take off the part that raises and lowers and leave the plate, but mine was leaking so I took the whole thing off. Remove the handle inside first.(my handle was missing).

I took off the antenna once but could go no further. I guess I figured one could come up from underneath with a hidden screw or hex head bolt inside the hollow handle. I will have to "wait" until winter is over if there is to be a hole there when I am done for I don't have a shop tall enough to get the trailer inside!!! Thanks for the information!!
