we have no sound through our 2020 International serenity 30'. AUX / Bluetooth doesn't work. Button on behind tv. Talked with service rep at dealership that was waste of time (camperclinc2, Austin, TX ). We just gave up and bought a Bose sound bar from Cosstco.

The problem began when Airstream uses a variety of TV's and not all have an "audio out" feature, so there's some creative wiring and a dealer can't possibly know what Airstream did.
However, I'll bet there's a way. Either the stereo has to be in an "aux" mode or ???
Trial and error.
The soundbar is not a bad idea.

I bought a new television for our International. I ditched the 22" LG dumb TV that came from the factory and replaced it with a Vizio 24" smart TV. Unfortunately the Vizio didn't have bluetooth capability, and I couldn't find another option in that size range with that functionality. I purchased a bluetooth dongle that fits in the "audio out" port in the back of the new TV, and I'm hoping that will connect to the Airstream stereo. I'm planning to give it a try this weekend.

We managed to get this resolved as a warranty item. The dealer simply needed to run an optical cable from the TV to the Fusion. Not sure why this was not done at the factory during the build. I was contemplating a sound bar as well, but would rather use the existing system.

Same issue and concern!

Hi there
I just took delivery on a 2021 Globetrotter and have the same issue. The TV and DVD player will not play thru the Fusion stereo. Very frustrating! Also - it is very difficult to find the satellite cable to hook up my satellite receiver. The manual says it is hidden beneath the DVD player, which means that I have to unscrew and remove the tand and try and locate it. For $100k, I hoped for more...

That sounds like the exact solution needed! I wonder if I could do this myself? How can you run the optical from the TV? I suppose I could duct tape it to the wall, LOL.

Are you sure the DVD/Blu-ray player isn't just held in place with Velcro? Mine is, but it's an older Flying Cloud.

You might want to inspect the TV before considering a course of action. Many (all?) of the 24” LG TVs on the 2021 Globetrotters don’t have any audio outputs at all—optical or analog. They just have an HDMI input and a 75 ohm antenna/coax input. If that’s the case with yours, it won’t do you any good to run an audio cable to the Fusion unless you are prepared to replace the TV with one that offers an audio output connection of some kind.

If you do decide to replace the TV, it might be easier to get one with ARC and use the existing HDMI cable and an HDMI switch with an audio extractor to get TV audio to your Fusion. You’ll need to run another HDMI cable from the DVD player to the switch to restore operation of the DVD player if you cannibalize the existing HDMI cable.

I just installed the bluetooth dongle. Problem solved - it works perfectly. It was about $27 on Amazon.

Won’t work with the 24” LG in the 2021 Globetrotter. NO audio outputs at all, including a headphone jack. No ARC, no optical, no RCA, no headphone.

My original LG was that way also. I had to replace the TV with a Vizio unit that had the audio jack.

I did that as well. The Vizio is a good choice. In addition to the audio jack, the Vizio has ARC so I was able to take advantage of the existing HDMI cable to hardwire audio to the head unit. I thought about using the Bluetooth option but was concerned about audio lag.

There didn't appear to be any noticeable audio lag when I tried it today. We'll see how it goes as we use it a bit more.

The other nice thing about the bluetooth connection is that we can use bluetooth headphones if one person is sleeping or working and the other person wants to watch television. We're preparing to go on a workamping trip soon, and I suspect there will be some times when I'm sitting at the table working, and my wife is watching television with her headphones.

First, our 2020 international 25FB, the satellite is located behind the stereo head. I was required to remove the entire DVD, USB built in, then remove the side panel from the upper cabinet...this will allow access to all of the wires.

I use a 4K Apple TV to watch all of our programs. The Apple TV allows you to Bluetooth the sound through the AS’s audio system.

I have the very same question, I was under the impression the Samsung TV would use the Fusion and Classic sound system but cannot locate how this is done.
