Sony Muiti Disc Player in Bambi Sport

I have a new Bambi Sport that I'm slowly getting to know. The Sport comes with a Sony Multi Disc player that has a radio, plays a USB drive, a CD player and a DVD player - all built in under the tambour cabinet. However, I am confused as to the use of the DVD function. What is it plugged into? Certainly not the TV. The included TV (on the swing arm) is connected to an antenna and cable and has HDMI and composite inputs. However, there is no connection between the TV and the Sony DVD player. Am I missing something?

I have a 2015 Sport 16 foot model and by putting a movie DVD in the player it will play on the TV.

What media setting do you put the TV on? Every one I choose says media not connected.

If I remember correctly you sit DVD on the player then you can use remote. Have only used it once to make sure it worked after I purchased. Don't watch a lot of DVDs but will be on the road again in a few weeks I will try it out again and trying to get back with you.

Manual #1 says "Turn on your monitor, then select the input source on your monitor corresponding to this unit." Problem is all the input sources (component, AV, HDMI 1, HDMI 2) on the TV say "not connected". Not sure which input source I'm supposed to use (none of the respond) and I'm not sure if there is something on the Sony I need to set. When a DVD is inserted I hear the audio through the speakers, but nothing on the TV.

Most newer LED TVs nowadays have HDMI and Component video inputs but no dedicated RCA video jack input. One of the Component video jacks is usually set for RCA video input. I know on my 2008 vintage Sony head with DVD when I insert the DVD in the slot the radio automatically switches to the external output which in my case is an RCA video cable.

There has to be either an RCA video cable connected into the back of the TV to receive a external video signal from a separate device. Look for a cable that comes out the wall or a jack plate on the wall to the TV. RCA video cables are usually yellow.

Looking at the Sony manual posted it shows one video output source which is probably RCA since its not a Bluray DVD player so HDMI not needed.

Okay, found the problem. The connection cable was wrapped up and taped while the coaxle wires were not. When I cut the tape I found the connectors that were not plugged into the TV. I was expecting an HDMI cable but in fact there were only component (and one of the audio plug wires came off). Does anyone else have a component rather than HDMI setup from airstream?

I found the install manual for your radio. Only RCA video out. No HDMI or component (red, blue, green). One of the component ports on the TV should be for an RCA video input since you have a newer TV. When switching the TV to AV it should see the signal from the Sony head. Check the TV manual for which is video in.
