Has anybody experienced a low wurring sound through the speakers when using the dvd player. Any fixes if so.

Thanks

I don't have a ready link. You posted this appropriately in the Audio, Video & TV subforum. Read back thread titles in this subforum 12-18 months. I'm thinking there are at least two (if not more) threads on this very topic.

This is a link to a ground loop isolator that takes care of the problem, at least it worked for me.

There is another or several other threads where this was discussed.

Does the noise change or stay the same. It could be converter noise.

The ground loop isolator worked for me. While I was at it, I corrected some of the crazy wiring that the factory did on the head unit install.

This thread covers the ground loop isolator in depth -

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f450...reo-36282.html

This thread covers the re-wiring effort -

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f450...nel-42849.html

It sounds a little harder when you are reading than it actually is.

Good luck!

We had a Pioneer system put in our unit (6 disc changer) and we have no extra noises at all. The installer did make sure he put a isolater in to prevent any noises. It has been well worth the money to install.
