Yes; as did we! Signal strength the key, but using your cell as a "hotspot" and a decent data plan works better than relying on campgrounds, we have found.
We just did a cross country to JC Ohio, and stayed at 11 different campgrounds.
Not a one had "constant", "reliable" wifi signals, and primary excuse was "campers streaming" in their rigs...(now that "was" a consistent answer!) When campers have access and many are "working" from their campers using their computers, they will use the campground wifi vs using their own data with limits...that plus streaming TV causes intermittent internet, we have found. Thats why a strong signal acquisition device seems to be a good investment...that's what we are researching now...there are a couple threads on Forum on this currently...
(I must warn you however, this seems to be like selecting a trailer hitch or a tow vehicle!)
