Satcom Passport Mini Plus flat dish

We bought my mom an 89 excella and it came with the following;

Satcom Passport Mini Plus Dish
Satcom digital satellite seeker
Rca Direct TV Plus receiver

I can't find any information on this dish online other than a few press releases announcing its debut. I'm looking for instructions on how to use the seeker to fine tune. Also, does anyone have experience with this thing?

Many manufacturers, nowdays, post instruction manuals in PDF form.

Their website is useless, just bunch of links to direct tv, dish, etc. My search of the web makes me think they are out of business. Their phone is disconnected. I need someone to tell me if this thing works, how to use it, or should I trash it.
