Sat. Receiver & DVD Player Location

Where do you place your Satellite reciever and DVD player on the newer AS with flat wall mounted TV so you have a direct aim with your remote? SOB RV's usually have a shelf located nearby for these.

Sat radio location

Hi,

The sat radio is installed by the factory in the overhead cabinet where the CD changer is installed, adjacent to the location for the stereo.

With the door open I can aim the sat radio remote at the 23" TV that is mounted on the wall where the fridge is located. The light bounces back to the sat radio.

Hope this helps.

Jim

Our TV is factory mounted on a retractable arm so it can be positioned for viewing from various locations, which isn't hard in a Bambi. And, like Norsea, the satellite radio is in the cabinet above the dinette in the front of the AS. I was considering repositioning it outside above the stereo/cd/dvd player so I wouldn't have to leave the cabinet door open to control it.

Click on you TV menu and go to settings. You can usually reprogram your remote for radio frequency ( no clear line needed) instead of the infrared.

Hey Scotty...

Try this...
Hang or mount a CD in the area to reflect RC beams to equipment.

Works even better while wearing your tin foil hat.
Hold RC sideways too, like a gangsta
