Replace coax on 1997 34' Excella

I looked through the old threads and couldn't find a direct answer to this question.

I have a 1997 34' Excella, and would like to replace the old coax with new RG6. I know there are several runs, both distribution to the front and back tv jacks, as well as from the cable hookup near the shore power panel.

Is it a matter of attaching the new to the old and pulling it through, or is it like the older wiring with knots/kinks/and sticky stuff?

Is the phone cable the same? It would be nice to pull new cat5e in place of the old 4 wire.

Unfortunately, the cables can not be just pulled thru because they are attached at several points. It is not a simple job, but can be done.

Any more information on this topic? I have a 91 Excella and need to upgrade to the new cable also....

Anyone?
