Removing a braund tv antenna selector

I'm trying to remove the selector wheel on the inside so I can remove the skin. It's the item in the picture. Do I need to remove the outside part to get the inside off? I'm having a hard time taking it off without breaking anything.

Thanks!

Remove the three screws and it should wriggle off the hexagonal drive-shaft. It might be corroded onto the shaft, but there's nothing else but the three screws holding the interior crank assembly onto the wall. The outside gearbox isn't holding onto the inside crank and does not need removal.
