Radio Antenna Location?

I have a 1983 31' Excella that we are restoring. The vintage Audiovox still works but I have only 2 or 3 stations that come in and we live in a city. I found the reason. The radio antenna is cut off and bundled up behind the disconnected 12v plug and TV antenna box on the sidewall above the radio. There is no sign of an exterior radio antenna. Am I missing something? Where was (or is) the radio antenna located? Should I just install a new one outside?

This one from High Sky RV Parts caught my eye. AIRSTREAM ANTENNA.

Thanks for any suggestions on this.

Looks like I finally found a link to my question. For those that are looking here you will find a discussion on this very problem here.
I think mine has been cut and the prewire damaged. I will have to relocate to the pillar just in aft of the living room windows and in front of the refrigerator bay.
