Angry Poor sound quality on 12VDC TV

New 22" flat screen Axess TV. Picture is good but the audio is dreadful. Hardly any volume.(or volume control) and very mushy. Is this a 12 VDC issue? Would external speakers cure the issue?

I use a small sound bar powered by USB connection to the TV. Not the greatest but much better than stock and was inexpensive.

I used an old set of computer speakers we had laying around. Plugged into 110 volt and headphone jack on my tv. Much better than tv speakers.

Thanks. Good looking item, but unfortunately not wall mountable.

Thanks. Considered that option but no 110 VAC close enough to the wall mounted TV.

We use a Bluetooth Audio Transmitter plugged into the headphone jack on our Samsung 28 inch TV. We pair that with a Bose SoundLink II mini - it's excellent.

I mounted it to the wall using 3M heavy duty double sided tape. Bought a new TV and stuck it to the bottom of the TV using the same brand of tape.

Our Westinghouse 24" flatscreen (45watts@120VAC) I use the earphone jack to feed the sound to a Bose 200 rechargeable speaker. To my ear, it's just as rich as the Bose 300, but the latter gets louder (what I do not need inside our small trailer.)

Excellent idea! I wonder if you could pair it to the stereo in the airstream ?

Buy a decent Bluetooth speaker system like the Riva Turbo X or Riva S. They have a 3.5mm aux jack you can hook up to the TV so no need to buy a BT transmitter for the TV. You can pair your smartphone to it to play your music too. I'm ditching my Sony system in my Airstream for one of these speakers.

Our set up uses the mini-RCA on the Bose II directly to the flatscreen's headphone jack. Great sound in a small trailer
