Where is the “magic button” for the Sole antenna amplifier?
Hi all,
We’ve been looking for the button/faceplate for the amplifier on our Sole (accent on the e) antenna. We have a 2012 Airstream Avenue with a Sansui TV. I’ve swung the Tv out and looked behind it thoroughly.
Any suggestions?
Thanks very much—
Annei

Found it!
I read the owner’s manual for the interstate which describes the switch as being in the overhead entertainment cabinet. We don’t have a cabinet, but just an empty compartment, but the switch is in there. Nevertheless we still don’t get any signal—-even blurry, so I think the Sole antenna must be bad.

has anyone or a couple of AS tested the difference between batwing and disk say at the same campground side by side so to speak.

Our first trailer was a 2015 Sport 22. Had the crank it up batwing style. Worked great in places in lesser populated areas such as Maryville MO northeast of St. Joe/ Kansas City, or in Melvern KS southwest of Topeka or Council Grove Kansas further west and south of Topeka.
Our newer 2017 has the white disk and we definitely get fewer channels in the same campgrounds (sometimes the same site).

The white disk is not a great antenna. I recently spent a week camped in Grapevine, TX... north-central area of the DFW Metroplex, where most of the TV transmitters are in Cedar Hill about 26 miles away. I think it's because my trailer was oriented such that the AC unit was between the dumb disk and the towers, but even with the amp on the signal was unsatisfying... at least the park had decent cable, not the dumbed-down 4:3 downconverted junk many campgrounds provide as an "amenity." I was there by myself for work, I don't generally watch much TV in the trailer but thought I'd have a decent selection up there.

Thanks, that looks like a good solution, except that it would be very difficult to access it up on the high roof.

that is one cool antenna. mostly for home use seems to me. Not sure I would want that on top of roof flying down the road at 60 mph and have it fly off.. that would be a BUMMER..
