Move Bedroom TV up in 2014 FC

I remember a thread on this but I can't find it. The TV in the bedroom is way too low. I need to move it up about 2 feet.

Has anyone done this on a 2014 FC? I'm wondering how I can drill the new holes and extend the cables. If someone can point me to the thread that talks about this I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

In my 2015 FC the bedroom wall that has the TV mounted adjoins the shower so there is no access to the other side so you would want to use some sort of toggle bolt - I prefer the snap toggle type. Also my wires come out the side wall which makes it so I do not have to reroute. I think the biggest concern is what to do with the holes left from the original mounting location.

Well, I moved it. I inspected the bolts and the holes and there was nothing special about them. Just 4 bolts screwed into the wood. So I made 4 little holes and screwed it in a little higher. Easy peasy.

The cables are long enough to reach the new location. There was plenty of slack. And a little golden oak wood filler made the old holes disappear.
