JVC KD-DV5000 DVD/CD Receiver problem

We have a 2005 CCD 28 foot International with the upgrade A/V System. While playing an audio DVD track, after a few minutes the sound cuts in and out and then quits playing. The DVD player/receiver recognizes the disk after insertion and always starts OK. The CD changer is working OK. Have other owners of the JVC KD-DV5000 DVD/CD receiver experienced this? When the unit was new, I had a similar problem playing CDs. Airstream tech support thought the problem was with one of the auxillary audio switchers (there are two daisy chained.) They arranged to have one shipped to me along with a factory schematic. I installed it and that seemed to fix the problem. I thought I would first post to the forum and see if others have had a problem before contacting Airstream directly. The JVC A/V system is designed for automobiles, but Airstream customized for the trailer.
