I got in trouble on the moose thread because of the banter here....I think I'll keep my comments to myself, lest I tarnish my reputation even more!

Sorry ...I think I encouraged that.
Some folks just don't get humor. Your reputation is still fine.

Not to worry. If you get a little too tarnished I'm sure several would be willing to whip out the cyclos and buff you out to a shiny new you...

Antlertenna?

I get just as good reception on moose antlers. Thankfully, "Antlers take three to five months to fully develop, making them one of the fastest growing organs in the world." Contact your doctor or seek emergency medical attention if your antenna takes this long to work. Boy, do I get grumpy!

Yes, sirree....you were the one! I got a little carried away between threads. You guys are too funny!

Anyhow, back to the antenna, I hope it all works out for you.

By the way, how do you highlight quotes in blue from previous posts? Can't seem to figure that out.

The cold, heartless one.

Hi Becky

You can select the type you want to change using your curser and highlighting it, then on the tool bar above the box you see a letter A, us the droip down and select a new text color.

Click on the 'Quote' link at lower right in the post you wish to quote. I went back and forth in separate windows with cut-and-paste to include quotes from both you and Dave in my post above.

The quote can be edited in your reply window like I did here -- including just the part I was addressing.

Thanks - I'm sure it will. Who would have thought you'd luck into brand new 1970's antenna. Wonder if I could bend the splines so when it does stand up it will look like a moose's antlers.....

I'm not sure if that would be socially acceptable.

Becky, your quote terminators
have to be black. That prevents the intrusion of the coloring code in the middle of the terminator like occurred here -
.

Socially acceptable? The mods aren't sleepin'...

Gary, sorry for hijacking your thread. Sounds like you worked into a very good solution!

Opps,
I went ahead and repaired the quotes in Becky's post above before I saw Bob's post.

It's what I do...

Okay, now I got it! I think. Well, if I don't, some nice moderator will fix it! I won't say anything bad about moose again--I promise Mr. Moderator!
