Internet

I have iPhone. How do you connect internet in the tv. I’ve tried going through blu ray player, doesn’t work. What am I doing wrong or is it not possible? 2021 International A/S.

I replaced my television with a Smart TV for this purpose. I have heard of some people using Apple TV or a Fire Stick for this purpose with the stock TV.

We use ROKU since that is what we use at home. Connect ROKU to your TV HDMI. Then connect ROKU to your IPHONE hotspot. We don’t have a smart TV and it works great. The thing that people forget with SMART TV’s is that if they aren’t connected to the internet they do not update the firmware. Some SMART TV will allow you to manually update. So if you get one make sure that is allowed. If that firmware goes out of date it can affect your ability to stream. That is why it is easier to take a ROKU that you use in your house and use it in your Airstream, or at least take the ROKU from Airstream inside and connect to internet so the firmware can update on regular basis.

We just used the Bluetooth on our television today, to listen to the soundtrack of a movie planing on the iPad . . . fun . . .

Your dealer should be able to help also, or the Airstream 800 number help line?

PS -- The "Electronics and Connectivity" forum may also be of help:

Can someone in the park give you some hands-on help in the morning? In my personal opinion, trying to work this all out here at night may not be that productive . . . sounds as if you are fairly new at this electronics stuff?

Good luck,

Peter
