Installing Disney+ to Projector TV on '19 33' Classic

Has anyone been successful in installing Disney+ on the LG projector TV in a 2019 Classic 33? We're having trouble and would appreciate some assistance on how to set this up.

Thanks in advance

Can you plug an HDMI cable into the projector? We do a AV connector to our phone and stream from our phone. Works with Netflix too.

BSWY,
I looked on the sides/front of the projector earlier today and didn't see anything. I'll look again. Projector is mounted close to the wall, so not sure if there is a connector on the back that is easily accessible. Will look into this further, as well. Thanks for the reply. Does the 30' Classic have a projector as well? Will send more info when I take a further look.

30 has a standard LCD Tv. Do you have a Blu-ray player? You may be able to grab that HDMI cable?

If yes, you can also buy an HDMI switch that allows you to switch HDMI ports with one cable. I have it in mine to swap between PS4 and the AV cable.

Sorry I don't know specifically, but there is a couple of ways.

As said before

Use your notebook to stream the movie - HDMI cable direct to the projector ----but you would need sound.

Use your notebook to stream the movie - HDMI cable to the DVD player INPUT?

Use your notebook to stream the movie - HDMI cable to the BOSE soundbar?

Use your CHROMECAST / APPLE TV / ROKU / PLAYSTATION to stream the movie - HDMI cable to the same as above.

Does your projector look like this? If so you should have the ports on the side. I believe mine are on the side facing the front of the Airstream.

Pretty easy to do. Buy a ROKU connection, like the Roku Streaming Stick+. I plugged the Roku stick in the HDMI port on the auxiliary panel next to the radio and the Roku USB plug into one of the USB ports on the same panel. Then you can use the Roku device to get to the Disney+ app.

All. Thanks for all the direction. I was able to get it to work today. Tore the whole electrical system apart, more so, so that I kew what wire/USB/HDMI was going to what. Projector, radio receiver (or whatever it was), splitter, DVD, outlets, and wires that ran down/behind the wall. I now have a diagram to reference in the future rather than tear everything apart. There's a lot of components and wiring in a small space. I was successful in being able to connect to the "auxiliary" HDMI port at the "auxiliary" connection ports above the projector and below the DVD player. For now I have to sit the computer in the side cabinet and run the HDMI cable from the computer to the aux. HDMI port.

JDG - we have an LG HF80JA in our unit. No connections the side. All were in back. 2 usb, 2 HDMI, 1 cable, 1 audio and 1 power are used. I believe there were a few other avaliable connections, but not used so I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to them

ghaynes755 - I'm curious if the ROKU will allow me to get Disney+ directly in the trailer without the use of the computer. That would be the ultimate goal. Electronics is not my specialty by a long shot, so I'm limping thru this. I'll look into the ROKU.

Thanks again

jking, no need for a computer with the Roku. No need to open up the panel to the rat's nest of wires. I did the same thing and then bought the Roku. I've got the stick on the projector panel and another one, non stick model, in the bedroom. They work great.

Besides something like Disney I get all of my news channels, sports, movies over Roku.

It is a Streaming device so it can replace your PC, but will need Wi-Fi. Your notebook can do Wifi, play DVDs, and play downloaded movies on it's hard drive when out of internet range....so have both
