Welcome to the forums Jan I love to see new Motor Home members. Are you looking for the original stereo or a replacement? If a replacement I think you will find the opening will accept most of the stereos on sale today. I am not sure if you can still purchase a cassette player but it is possible.

We're looking for a replacement for the original FM/Am cassette player, the unit is real small and the cassette player doesn't work. The space is a lot smaller than new units. Thanks for your help

We just purchased and installed a car audio system in our 68 Globetrotter. It's already 12 volt so no adjustments had to be made. We did have to make a box for it to be mounted in and then we set it in the storage compartment above the front sofa. There were already places for the speaker to be mounted.
