Front Speaker Failure, 2016 25 ft Flying Cloud

All of the sudden, both front speakers stopped working on the Clarion system. The fade setting makes no impact. I pulled the unit to see if a wire had come loose and was dumbfounded by the number of wires and bizzare configurations. The front speaker wires are not connected, but clearly never were as they are neatly capped. I suspect it may have something to do with that ridiculous subwoofer they install. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you’re on the right track and it’s a loose wire somewhere. By pull the unit, that’s the head unit or you have already started looking at the speakers and sub?

Last I heard about an audio issue, it ended up being a break in the wire that runs through the wall. Anything new happen such as a dent or an accident that may have cut the wire on accident?

I recently had a rear speaker that was not working. After driving on bumpy roads for quite a stretch the speaker suddenly stopped working. I took the speaker out and noticed the speakers wires were no longer connected. I re-connected the wires and problem solved. Sounds like you’re definitely on the right track.

What did you use for speakers? I pulled one to have a look and they weren't too bad. My main beef is with the head unit. I'll probably replace that and teh DVD player at some point. 2012 Flying Cloud 23fb.

I just replaced 6 speakers in my TV and added an amp/sub woofer. I also placed Dynamat in all 4 doors and and in the rear between truck bed and cab. Massive improvement there.
