Hey folks,
Thought I’d share an easy and cheapo way to stream video from your mobile devices to all TVs in the Aistream. This may be pretty obvious, but I’m super happy with how it turned out. Since we have 3 TVs in the AS, I really wanted to have a way to get video especially to the bunk area as simple as possible
The solution we have it to put a HDMI switch between the BluRay player and the HDMI splitter that is factory installed behind the player (not pictured).

2 HDMI Cables
Lighting to HDMI adapter for Apple
On our 2021 30FB Bunk, the audio center is above the couch, unscrewed the face plate and used a knife to free the BluRay player from its Velcro. Then, pulled both components out, disconnected the HDMI cable from the BluRay player and the splitter. Then, was able to push the HDMI cables down through the top of the cabinet between it and the airstream skin.
Connect one to the BlueRay and the other cable to the splitter. The splitter cable goes to the output side of the switch and the DVD goes to the input side. Then plug another HDMI Cable into the other port on the input side. This cable is where you plug the adapter to the phone.
I love this solution so we can easily stream movies anywhere and everywhere in the AS without wifi, AppleTV, or having any cables to plug into the back of the TV.
Note, if your AS has a HDMI Splitter with more that one input, its much easier - no additional switch or extra cable needed. Unfortunately ours only has one input.
Hope this is helpful.
