CG Cable Connections

I have a 2006 Sarfari 25 FB wqith the factory audio/visual package. I also have a king dome Satellite dish with Dish Network. Sometimes is easier to connect to cable for an overnighter then to dial in the dish.

My problem is simply that CG cable reception is crappy I'm using good coaxle and the loop on the CABLE/SAT IN and the CABLE/SAT OUT are connected. The Sony TV does not have a coax cable connector.

Are you running the cable-in through it's connection on the the satellite receiver? I get best reception that way.
Also, turn off the antenna boost if it's on.
