Broken radio antennae

I have a 2004 Safari and the radio antennae on the roof (front) is broken off. There is a black nub about an inch tall but no antennae. Is this an easy repair (i.e. screwing on a new antennae) or is it more involved. I would love to have the radio function work, but I donít want to have to pull out cabinets and such just to install an antennae.

Thanks in advance.

You can buy a replacement on Amazon. It just screws on.

I had the same problem. I know I didn't hit any tree branches, so maybe a bird strike or just a lousy antenna.
I bought the replacement from Amazon, and only replaced the upper portion above the "ball". All the parts lined up, I think I used the original screw (Hex head).

Don't remove the part into the trailer since it's sealed.

Alas, mine appear to have broken (actually its limping) and this is what I was looking for, thank you to all!
