Best Dish Antenna please?

Anyone with good experience with a Dish Network good rooftop satellite antenna, the ones that chase the best signal by themselves? Thank you!

I prefer the stand-alone type, not rooftop.

If it helps, I use the Pathfinder X2. (it will see either the eastern or western arc satellites) - helpful if you are shooting between trees. And, it does find them on its own.

Vote #2 for the Winegard Pathfinder X2. We just switched from the King DISH Tailgater since it only sees the Western satellites. Having one that can see both the Eastern and Western satellites is a big plus.

We are considering the Winegard Pathway X2 and was wondering if anyone has experienced any problems with it. Also, are you able to watch different channels on the tv's at the same time? If so, did you do anything extra to achieve this?

You can watch any channel that is on the same satellite as the main receiver on the second receiver. The main receiver is the determining factor.

RR is correct. There is a second output on the dish, but it will send the same signal to your second receiver (which you must have also).

You can, however, receive broadcast signals on your second tv. And DVR, I guess. Never tried, as it is just the two of us and we watch whatever together.

Have the Winegard Pathway X2. I also installed a 4 way HDMI switcher so I can watch sat on one tv and the local news or dvd etc on the other.
