Antenna Mount

Antenna Mounting Plate
I am trying to remove the mounting plate for our antenna. This is an eletric only, no manual crank inside. The electric does not work and I can find no threads to help repair it. I want to remove all, since the antenna rests on my vent and I will be installing a Fantastic fan. I am down to the plate and a gear. I can move the plate around and around, the gear will not budge. Any ideas?

Pictures speak many words

I am posting some pictures of the antenna mount. I can remove the gear on the rod with an allen wrench. The problem is the lower gear. There is no allen screw holding it on. I have tried a crow bar but it does not budge. The only other fasteners I see are rivets on the outside of the plate to the roof. I do not want to drill these out since then my hole to patch will be so much bigger. Plus these rivets were put on from the inside. Once again I have no access to this from the inside. This antenna worked solely on electric.

Kent, it looks like the only way to pull that antenna base off is to scrape off the goo on the outside edge of the rectangular metal piece under the antenna. You should find either screws or rivets holding the base on. Remove them, and the whole thing should lift off the roof. The inner workings don't look like they come off separately.
