2021 gt tv

Hey all. Anyone knows what is the specific model of TVs in the Globetrotter 25FB for 2021. I know they are LG but looking for the specific model. I want to understand what the specs are. Are they smart TVs, more specifically. Thanks.

I don’t know about your 25, but the LG TV in my 2021 GT 23FBT is not a smart TV. In fact, it’s a pretty dumb TV. No apps, no WI-FI, no audio outputs—no headphone, optical, RCA, ARC. It has an HDMI input and a Coax input and that’s it. I pulled it out and replaced it immediately.

The TVs in the 2021 GT are not smart televisions. My 27GT came with two LG televisions that are the most introductory models possible with no connectivity or smart features built in. I replaced both TVs with alternate models to gain smart functionality. Others have utilized Firestick or Roku adapters.

I’m wiring all my gizmos in my new bunkhouse and just learned today that the cheap Sony Blue ray player has the smart features, Netflix etc. that’s how it’s done. I’m wiring my 30bunk the same as my 2020 international. I use an hdmi splitter which automatically senses which input I’m using. Apple TV, Blue Ray, PS4 etc. if you use the 4K Apple TV, you can Bluetooth the sound through the AS’s sound system and avoid the crappy TV speakers. It doesn’t have the typical Bluetooth delay, this way you hear the character speak when their mouth moves. Works well!

That’s interesting. Do you happen to know what the model number is for the Blu-ray?

And on your setup, you mean that the HDMI splitter is connected in the cabinet where the Sony Blu-ray is?

Blue Ray: Sony BDP S1700... I haven't had a chance to use it for netflix etc, I did watch a couple reviews which were positive, this is where I learned about the streaming and games. Where it seemed to lack was 4k... Not a big deal, I don't think these are 4k tv's anyway.

The Monoprice Blackbird: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This will give you 4 inputs to your 1 HDMI out to the tv's

You may as well buy one of these while you are at it: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have had Apple Tv's for years now, i'm sold on the features. On our trip down south this past month, I upgraded my Apple Tv to the 4k which has bluetooth. Using Bluetooth, you can project the audio through the AS's speakers...sounds great!

That’s great. Thanks. How did you access the HDMI cable on your unit? Did you have to open up the housing for the Blu-ray?
