1988 29' Excella-Rear Spkr Wiring

After long and tiring search I have found the problem with my new stereo. There were two - 1.a shorted ground wire when one of the hall overhead light was screwed in at time of manufacture. 2. I also have a shorted speaker wire somewhere between radio and rear speaker and I can't find it. Anyone run a 'homerun' speaker line from radio (front) to rear speaker. Unfortunately form my 68 Globetrotter I know what's above headliner. Ideas?

Thanks
Dan
