Unhappy 1067 Radio Antenna Snapped Off

We have a 1967 Ambassador, and stored her safely in a locked yard for the winter. Some DUMB BUNNY parked another unit (NOT an Airstream) really close to us, tied her up with a tarp, and then the tarp came undone and whipped the POOP out of us. *** Anything protruding on our unit got caught.. we will be niggling with their insurance company over propane tanks, valves and scratches. It also knocked off the right rear red tail light.. and I read the thread about how much trouble THAT is! I am so upset, because she looked really great and I do NOT need to be moving backwards!! *** But the thing that REALLY worries me is my radio antenna. It was completely snapped off..and I want to learn and join the short wave radio club! *** Would anyone know anything about any of this??? The '67 has a radio outlet next to the pantry. I bought an astronaut 8 Shortwave, which I have not taken out there yet. Any advice ould be greatly appreciated.
