Replacement Microwave

Well, there is an old adage that disasters/failures come in triplicate. First our A/C failed, then the fresh water tank sprung a leak, now the microwave is toast. I'd rather improve upon the Dometic than replace, so I'm seeking advice. Has anyone replaced with a quality convection microwave such as the Sharp? Or perhaps the Panasonic Inverter series? Have you run it on generator (Yamaha 2400 inverter)?

I replaced the failed Dometic Microwave with a Panasonic Inverter Series. A bit smaller at 0.8 cu ft and 900 watt, but it fits the space and cooks so much better. Runs fine on generator (Yamaha 2400 IS). I installed it on anti-vibraton pads and strapped it down with elastic straps. This one will ride much better than the Dometic which kept jumping out of it's seat.
