Refrigerator Cooling Fan

My 2016 19’ Flying Cloud has a fan switch. The thermostat doesn’t turn on the fan. Can I wire the the red wires together and use the switch for on and off without causing damage?

Yes or take the red wire connections off the thermostat and use a bladed fuse to connect them. No fuss. No muss.
Most of the time it really helps to have the fan running anyway.
