Placement of Motion Sensor Night Light

Per the suggestion in another thread (which I cannot find with the search function), I purchased a set of the motion sensor night lights by OxyLED. I want to place one of them in my closet and the other one in the bathroom in my 2019 25' FBT. Where did or would you place a light? On the underside of the medicine cabinet? Opposite the head? Above the towel rack that is above the head? On the ceiling? Each light is about 8" long and 1" wide.
Thanks for your recommendations.

I put ours under the countertop near the back wall of the bathroom. Doesn’t blind you, but gives you the needed light for those late night/early morning bathroom runs.

I have magnetic motion sensor solar lights on each side of hitch; one on the steps and one on each side of the bumper storage for outside. I than have a battery ones on the underside of the medicine cabinet and one on the stove vent.

Hi, I have a different type of motion sensor light. I mounted mine in the bathroom on the wood panel just above the door. It turns on as you enter the bathroom and lights up the whole room. And the light faces inward so it doesn't light up the hall way or kitchen.

Hi PatLee,

I remember that thread too and bought one for our GT - put it on the back side of the vanity mirror. They work great, last a long time on a charge and are really bright.

We also got two GE light-sensing LED night lights for the bathroom and kitchen. Plug them into a wall receptacle and they go on when it’s dark and are just bright enough you don’t need the ceiling light.

Hope that helps!
Jeff

I have found the Mr Beams light above to work well. It is a yellow light so it doesn’t affect your sleep pattern when getting up in the night.

We use two CampGuard LED Lanterns with Motion and Motion with Audible Audio Alarm Camping Lantern. We keep one on top of the propane tank housing, and the other under the dinette table at night. We stow them in our TV, or in the wardrobe when traveling.

What we found...

...if you have a dog a motion light in the bathroom can be problematic. Especially if his food bowls are on the shower floor. The blinking light was a PITA at night. I finally moved it to the inside of the shower step-over facing inward.
He does consider it to be 'hisroom' not a bathroom, always has.😅
