General Air Conditioning Corp.

Hey there,

I'm new to this forum...just bought a 1953 cruiser. It needs a lot of work and I'm going to try and keep it as original as possible. One thing I'm struggling with is the stove/refrigerator. It came with a General Air Conditioning Corp. model RS-1004 stove refrigerator combination. The information I'm finding on these units puts them in the correct timeframe but, I'm not finding any 1953 Cruisers with that in their floor plan. The floor plans I'm seeing put the refrigerator across the hall. In my trailer, there is a closet where the refrigerator would go with an original door. This makes me think it's the original stove/refrigerator. Thoughts?
