Where is GFI reset?

I have a 2018 27FB Serenity. I can not find the GFI reset receptacle for the trailer. Where is the sucker?

Under the bed

In my 2017 Signature 25 FB the converter/breaker box is under the bed. Yours may be in a different location. Once you locate it, open the door to the breakers and there is a GFI breaker on the far right. This feeds the circuits that have receptacles labeled GFI. Mine was tripped somehow and I had the same problem finding where to reset.

Where is GFI reset?

Thank you for info on GFI location. Not trying to be too obtuse but Is it a typical wall plug gfi or some other configuaration? In 27FB the electrical circuit/fuse panel is To the left and beneath the range top/microwave at floor level? Is the GFI reset in the electrical panel. Thanks

Where is GFI reset?

David2638- That is unfortunately a very good question. Most homes have the first gfci protected receptacle with the reset button. This gfci receptacle protects others downstream. Why Airstream would use a gfci circuit breaker is strange to me because it is more expensive. This requires a reset at the circuit breaker.

As others indicated, on newer models, the GFCI is integrated with the breaker and is located in the power distribution center along with the other breakers and fuses. As was mentioned it is more expensive but it simplifies circuit wiring and is slightly less likely to have false trips, and allows use of the shallow outlets everywhere that fit in the thin wall space.

Ground fault circuit breakers are required by Ohio law that Airstreams must comply with during assembly. The same for copper propane lines. Those use to be black iron depending on the jurisdiction where assemble.

IN our 28ft FC it is to the right of the sink towards the front of the coach. It looks like a regular outlet. Had the same issue and changed every fuse, etc before I figured it out!!

I have not seen a reset able one in mine either. I haven’t needed to yet but I’m sure I will some day.

Thanks!

There might be a GFI breaker, Mike, although it may not be listed as such anywhere IMO. A GFI breaker looks different that the others, and has a fairly obvious reset button on it [red? yellow?], in addition to the main breaker throw switch. [Edit -- You said you did not see one "listed," so please look at the actual circuit breakers again, per the photo below.]

If you don't have a GFI breaker, then at least one of your 120-volt duplex outlets should be a GFI outlet, which protects other outlets in the same circuit. Usually in the galley or head IMO.

The electrical diagram in your owner's manual should indicate these possible locations, at least in a generic schematic view IMO.

PS -- As Dan said earlier:

Indeed, on page 8-29 of your international manual you will find that either 30A or 50A service the GFCI breaker will be on the far left in the power distribution center as Peter has indicated.

Mine went out last year and wouldn't reset. I had to replace the breaker as it had gone bad. Very easy job......but.......expensive.

Hopefully you forced it hard to "OFF" first otherwise it will not reset. Doubtful that the breaker is bad. Unplug all loads first.
