What is disconnected wire used for?

When inspecting my '72 Argosy 20 in preparation for an AC install, I noticed that the PO has disconnected the black wire that exits the univolt. Does anyone know what this is? I traced it until it disappears under the floor.

You may see in the attached photo there are two black wires. One is insulated by a cloth type insulation and the other by vinyl. When I first found this, the cloth insulated wire was left bare. I taped it just to be sure and haven't reconnected them until I figure out what this connection is for.

If anyone has a wiring diagram for a 1972 Argosy 20 I would love to have a copy.

Thank,

John

I found out. It's the incoming 120v AC power. I've since replaced with an Intellipower 9260.

Thanks anyway,
