Question Warming Lithium Batteries

Has anyone come up with a technique(s) for keeping your lithium batteries warm enough to charge during the winter? I know there are batteries coming out with heaters built in, but I am talking about other means such as warming blankets. My batteries will be internally mounted.

Thanks for your inputs!

Well, I may have answered my own question with a little Googling. Kat's Thermal Battery wrap 72 inches (maybe 2 of them for 4 batteries) coupled with a thermal Thermo Cube Thermostatically Controlled Outlet should hold the batteries at 35 to 45 F.

Warming Lithium Batteries

I just installed yesterday one of the new Battle Born units with the internal heater. To me, that was the simplest solution to the risk. Mine is also inside the trailer, which is another mitigation for the cold since it shouldn’t ever drop below freezing when in use.

Unless you want to go with the heating pad solution which uses more energy, I’d order the new model that has the internal heating element.Click image for larger version
