Victron Inverter Fan Noise

I am in the process of upgrading a 2022 GT 25FB Twin to lithium batteries and the new Victron MultiPlus II 3000A inverter. Past experience with large inverter/chargers is that they can make a lot of noise (mostly fan) when under load. Looking through the posts here by other folks doing inverter/charger upgrades it appears putting the inverter under the bed is the standard solution.

What is the experience with noise generated by using this location in the sleeping area of the trailer?

I put my MP-II in the back under my dinette in the cabinet there. When on shore/AC there is a hum similar to the noise my EMS makes but a touch louder. When charging it the fan makes some noise for sure but pushing over a 100 amps into the bank tops it off pretty quick. When on battery it’s silent unless under a heavy load then the fan kicks in. Light duty stuff like tv/appletv/etc the fan doesn’t kick on (65F ambient).

I would never put that unit under my bed… at least not if I was expecting to be on shore power. I hate that 60hz sound but with it at the other end of the trailer it’s fine.

Seamless 120v power everywhere is amazingly nice. Kind of wish I had a dedicated feed line for second AC and the water heater breakers to prevent accidentally using those but for an extra $200 in 10/3 wire/etc I will just switch them off.
