Univolt in '91 Excella

We purchased a 1991 29' Excella from PPL yesterday and brought it home last night. We can't find the univolt. Is it supposed to be under the front sofa? There is a wooden bracket attached to the floor under the sofa but it has nothing in it. There is a Sears battery charger with the leads taped to what appears to go to the DC panel. We know this isn't right. PPL charged us an inspection fee to check out the trailer, including specifically the converter. Before I call them, I want to make sure that the univolt isn't somewhere else in the trailer.

Thanks for your help.

I can't imagine why a Sears battery charger would be located in that area and no univolt. I think you have found where it was, but it is gone.

Yes, PPL should make it right.

yes the univolt should be under the front couch. The set up as you describe is incorrect, inadequate and unsafe. Have them make good on this.

Update. We contacted PPL and sent them pictures of the space where the converter should be. They were great in following up and delivered a new converter to us today.
