power adapter-30 amp-2 15 amp

i have been looking for a adapter to convert 1 30 amp to 2 15 amp ,and cant find one anywere .
i gave the last two i had away years ago , they were about 8 inch long and 12 gage wire but i dont know who made them ,if i have to i can make one my self but thes were water tight and worked great...

I just checked my Marinco catalog and my other suppliers. It seems that there is not an adapter as you specify being made now. You can get a 50-amp/50/50 'Y', or a 50-amp/30/30 'Y' as well, but nothing that goes 30- amp/15/15.

Remember that 50 amp park power is 240VAC with 2 hot legs and 30 amp is 120VAC with one hot leg.

It's not difficult to make one, but why not get a 30 amp/20 amp plug/socket and then use a 15amp/15amp 'Y' into that, or just use an outlet strip. Same results!

thanks, but will that not still give me 15 amps or am i not thinking right this morning ?
i need to put a 30 amp plug out side and have a waterproof box for a 30 amp only (2 of them)and have found that some campgrounds have 30 amp only .

The adapter I refer to is a 1 piece unit with hard matel connections inside. It actually provides the 30 amps into a 20 amp standard female socket on the other side of the 30 amp male plug. 2 - 15 amp 'Ys' will be providing 15 amps EACH to the capacity of the circuit....30 amps!
