Other end of battery cables
Hi,
I have a 77 Excella 500 which I discovered it didn't have any batterys with it , also seems to have some sort of quick connect cables that go to the battery, that are missing. The ones I want have the batterry ends on them.
Does anyone know where I can get two of these?
Thanks,
Robin Stone

I hear that these original quick disconnects are quite rare. I was faced with the same problem so had a company fabricate battery lugs, wire and Anderson quick disconnects for one of the two battery compartments. I still have the original quick disconnect from battery compartment to inside fuse box (somewhere in the garage).

They can also be a real pain to connect when you put the battery back in. You need to hold an end in each hand with a battery blocking the hole. The setup on my 75 TW is not user friendly.

Robin
Unfortunate thing PO probably threw the other end away wiff the old batterys. I lucked out I guess,my cables and ends were very corrided but I can use them. Im not sure what batterys u had but mine had Group 27's I found the cheapist price was autozone. My cables on the 77 are long enough for the batt's to sit on the doors and plug or unplug the Quick-Disconnects.
Good Luck
Roger
