Older Iota Charge Controller for LiFePo Batteries

Not sure if this has been covered on the forum before, I could not find anything...

I installed an Iota DLS 55 converter/charger with IQ4 around 2012. Well, now I am planning on upgrading to LiFePo batteries and need to have a new converter/charger. Well, maybe not, Iota makes a little item that plugs into the DLS chargers that make them compatible for LiFePo batteries. It is called the IQ LiFePo Smart Charge Controller.

The manual states: "The IOTA IQ-LIFEPO Charge Controller is designed for automatic charging control for DLS Battery Chargers with LiFePO4 battery applications, providing enhanced battery charging and maintenance."

Much more affordable (around $20) than getting a new converter/charger, and installation is a piece of cake.
