LiFePo4 charger on AGM battery
I've done a lot of searching about this and no matter how I search I don't get the answer to my question.
A friend of mine got 2 new Dakota LiFePo4 batteries for his boat's trolling motor. As part of the deal he got a free 5.2 amp LiFePo4 portable charger. He has an onboard Dual Pro 10 amp that does standard and AGM batteries. Researching, I find that the AGM charger is okay for the LiFePo4 batteries.
What I want to know is, can he use the freebie LiFePo4 charger to charge up his AGM ignition battery? When I search all I can find is that you can use the AGM charger on the LiFePo4 batteries but nothing on using the LiFePo4 charger on the AGM battery.
I think it would be okay since you can do the reverse of that. I just wanted to get some confirmation.
