LifePO4 Batterieis & Converter Upgrade Questions

Hello all,

We took the plunge and installed two 100Ah Battle-Born Lithium Iron Phosphate (LifePO4) batteries and the Progressive Dynamics 60Amp LiFePO4 Converter a few weeks ago and I found an extra white wire (negative) that I assume JC capped off (see Old Converter Connection Pic) the last time we were there for warranty work. It lands on the negative side in the main electrical box. The white wire that was connected appears to go directly to the 12v junction box that is tucked away under front compartment and would take a huge effort to access. Looking at the schematic, the white wire should go from the converter to the main electrical box. Any thoughts?

Cheers,
Larry

Larry, I had the same kinda question regarding the white wire. My converter is pretty much inaccessible so I was gonna leave it there but I too see the white wire from the converter attached to the distribution panel bus bar.
Have you had any luck with your question, I dont see any responses?

Hey Kawboy01,

Nothing yet, but I will reach out the mothership and post what they recommend.

Cheers,
Larry
