Inverter outlets dead

2023 Flying Cloud 28: All inverter outlets are dead. When I turn on inverter at the galley panel, it trips my gfci breaker. Still no power at inverter outlets. I turn inverter off and reset gfci breaker. Plug inverter is plugged into has power. I see a light inside inverter but still no power to inverter outlets. Now inverter will not turn on at panel. 24 hours later, same process. Turn Inverter on (dead outlets) and gfci breaker trips. Any ideas anyone? I’d say my inverter is bad but why does it trip my gfci breaker and not the inverter breaker?

The Inverter had a pass through.
When your plugged in to shore power the inverter automatically switches to shore power conserving your battery’s and keeping available those outlets.
Has a 15 amp breaker at your panel.
Mine was last one on left. Should be labeled. Inverter. You might check all the wiring to do with this inverter. When I removed found poor installation:Click image for larger version

How difficult is it to replace this inverter? Even though this is a new rig (2023) under warranty, my dealer is telling me they can’t give us an appointment until September (5 months from now)! Guess I’ll just have to replace it at my own expense.

I'd at least give PD a call to see if they'll warranty the hardware. The actual swap is very easy as long as you've got access. Just unscrew old one from the floor, move the wires over to the new unit and re-secure to the floor

To Replace,
Pull the Buss Fuss in your battery compartment.
There are 2 screws holding cover plate.
2 Allen Sockets holding your dc
And it use wago style to hold 15 amp romex.
And mine only had 2 Philip head screws, holding it down.
And the extension cord plug.
Not hard. Just make sure all ac and dc power is disconnected.
Also you may have already done so?
But pull the black plug from outlet inverter is plugged into. And plug in outlet tester. And turn on breaker to that circuit.Click image for larger version
