Inverter option on 2014 Flying Cloud 25??

Just bought a used FC 25. It has the inverter option. I would like to install the
PD 4456 converter. So, my question....is the the inverter and converter all the same unit? If I take out the old converter will I lose the inverter too?

Thanks

No. If you have Airstream's inverter package, they are 2 totally separate and distinct components.

And BTW, that's a PD-4655 you're after if you have 30 amp service to the trailer. If you have 50 amp service, you need the PD-9260 deck mount unit.

Sorry I got the wrong number

Yes, I am planning on getting the PD 4655. I sure appreciate this forum and the helpfulness of all the AS family.
Thanks
