Has anyone tried or seen the new Inteli-Power 4560, all-in-one electrical system?
Check it out here:

Looks to be a good solution to consolidate space. We are thinking of using this in our 25' Spartan renovation and put it in the Original "Medicine Cabinet" that was near the rear entry door.
Looks like a good Chrismas Present

balrgn, Just got done installing the 9260 in our Argosy 24, I didn't have room for the all in one unit which is the 4560, so I install a seperate fuse panel. I can tell you that it is fantastic after living with the old Uni Volt. Just for fun, I can turn on every light in the trailer and run the furnace, and the battery still charges right up. The lights are brighter as well and the battery comes up to full charge much faster. I hard wired a Volt Minder into the fuse panel, but if I had the money i would have invested in a true battery monitoring system. I would say if you have the room for the panel and all, you will not be disappointed. George.

I'll tell you what... I sure could use this. I am suspicious of the charger/load center in our newly aquired 345LE. Radio's hum, doesn't seem to follow D.C. load well. In fact, I am not sure it works well at all, I can't turn it off with the button (but I hear something click every other bush of the button). I love our Intellipower in our trailer - this seems like it would be perfect for the MOHO as well. Hmmm - it just went on my wish list.

Would this be a good unit to start with on a new layout? I have no wiring and I'm about to start laying out wire, outlets, batteries, etc. What else would I need? Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!

Just a couple of thoughts:

1. This is a 50a 120/240v breaker panel. Call Steve and see if they have or will soon have a 30a 120v version. Not that you can't use a 50a panel, but a 30a might be smaller.

2. I really like the "fuse blown" lights on the 12v panel. I have the same panel, but as a separate item, not integrated into the converter.

3. Other items you need will be an inverter, a battery disconnect switch, some 12V circuit breakers for the high flow circuits like the power jack, and fuses for the main battery cables.

Looks like a good unit, however those of us with the DC panel in the front, and the AC panel in the real, it won't work!

Newer rigs with wiring designed to use this system are a mixed blessing, but an improvement, I guess...

Having all systems together makes for more wires in a 'tighter' area, but done right, can be an improvement.

I just shake my head when I see new SOB's with their all-in-one distribution center mounted on a panel down at floor level!!! What are those designers thinking about...I wonder it they ever had the chance to have to work on one of those units, while they're laying on the floor!!!

Design the frickin' power distrubution panel to be mounted at shoulder height so it can be easily acessed by the user! Thank you very much...

I agree with Mexray 100%. I mounted both the 120vac and 12VDC panels in an overhead cabinet, and ran a pair of #6 cables to the battery and converter mounted near the floor.

It should work if you mount the whole shebang in the medicine cabinet and run a cable to the batteries.

I would like install the Inteli-Power 9200 in my 1976 31' and replace the old fuse panel with a new 12V fuse box such as the one available at Vintage trailer supply.
12V RV Fuse Box.

The fuse panel and converter are located behind the stove with access through a small sliding door. How difficult of project is this.

New power panel came in. Will be nice to have all the electric in one spot, not where you have to be a contortionist to access!

What else is needed once this is added to your layout? Will you be adding an inverter? What kind of wire would you suggest getting for both the 12v and the 110? Thanks...I'm about to pull the trigger on one as well and just now planning out the wiring diagram. J

Not certain on the wire size DC yet. I need to take measurements on the length. AC I will be going with 12ga through out.

Not sure about an inverter, but good thing to think about at this stage. We have not decided if we will be using this rig for boondocking..

Still need to lay out walls , so I'm a ways from installing.

Looks like it will suit really well. I have to rethink where it will go as it Will not fit in that cabinet I had planned on.

I just received my new Progressive Dynamics 4360 All in One system identical to the one shown previously, just in the 30amp version.

I have a question regarding the charging line coming from the TV. It's not listed on the manufactures diagram, but would I attach the Blue charging wire coming from the TV up to the "Battery Pos" connection on this unit? I snapped some pictures from the original Univolt system before I removed it, but accidentally deleted them.

On my 75 TW the charge line from the TV is also one of the 12 volt circuits and inputs through one of the fuses (circuit #5). The "Battery POS" is the +12 volt line from the trailer battery.

After looking over the wiring diagram, I just now realized that. So this being the case, I would just hook it up like a normal circuit? I'm no electrician, but that seems kinda strange to me and the way that it would still charge the trailer battery still doesn't make a connection in my head....but I guess that it works..

All the 12 volt lines are tied to a common bus. All the circuits, the battery and the output from the converter. By putting 12 volts to the bus from that circuit you are putting it into the battery.

Thanks for the info and a headache for when I begin to hook up my new system. Now I just have to run the new 120v wires over and I should have power in the trailer again..... Will probably add a couple of new drops in for future use since I have lots of new spots to add circuits. One more step towards recovery

I purchased a Inteli-Power 4560 and am installing it in the front area of my AS. I have re-ran the 120v cables so they converge now at the installation point of the 4560. The 12v wiring has been a little more confusing that I had thought it would be. There are a couple of wires in the AS that the 4560 accommodate out of the box (i think). The 456S only has a single place to connect the battery so there is no place to terminate all the positive (red) and negative(red) cables. I have a couple question for those of you that have already made the conversion:

The 4560 does not have a buss bar to terminate all the negative 12v cables. So do I just install a buss bar external to the 4560 and then bring a single 12v negative (white) to the 4560?
The 4560 does not have a place to terminate the blue main charge line form the 7-way. Should this just terminate at a positive (red) bus bar?
Is a fuse necessary in the main cables coming from the battery to the respective pos and neg buss bars?

I have attached a wiring diagram of how I propose to connect things. Please let me know if there is anything wrong with my design OR if there is a better way to do this? The dashed green lines are neg (white) and the solid red are pos. Thanks for the help!
