Inaccessible converter 21GT27FBQ

So poking around looking for the converter in our 21GT27FBQ I find it to the right of the power distribution panel under the refrigerator in a cubby hole between the closet access. It is in a pretty inaccessible location without trying to remove the face trim board under the frig.
My question if one wanted to up grade the converter for lithium, could I unplug the converter from the distribution panel and leave it there. When I rewire the new converter to be located under the front bed, plug into the power plug where the inverter is plugged in and wire to the batteries via the plus and minus buss bars in the 12volt connections box (seems old converter is wired this way) so the smart shunt will still be operational? The only issue may be the white wire from the converter that is connected to a buss bar on the distribution panel. The red is directly to the battery.
Any and all help and insight is appreciated.

Remove the 4 screws that connect the lid to the power distribution panel.

Remove the 4 screws to the power distribution panel, pull it straight out about a foot, slide to side

Now dig out charger/converter. Replace with updated unit. Reinstall the panel.

Did that but the converter is tucked into a space to the right and not accessible unless you remove the face board trim. Stupid location, not screwed down or anything. It is not behind the distribution panel but to the right between that and the closet.

Howdy Kawboy01, Crackerman is correct. Here is a photo of what I believe he is describing.

This is in a 2020 Globetrotter 27FBT. I pulled it all out so I could access the 50A shore power wire to splice in an electrical management system (EMS).

For my trailer, the converter was loosely placed and not secured in any way.

I also took the opportunity to rearrange most of the wiring to the distribution panel such that it was no longer restricting flow in the furnace duct. After doing this, the furnace hot air flow to the hallway, bathroom, and front bedroom significantly increased.

Ok so maybe I need to tug and pull more. Looking at your pic. the power panel has enough cable/wire to pull out way more. That would give me the room needed to get the converter out and as you did rearrange the ducting which is partly crushed by that divider behind which my converter sits.
Thanks for the info from both Crackerman and Palik. I will go back after the next trip to tug and pull more and see what happens.

What converter upgrade did you do or suggest? Was gonna check out Best Converter. I think they recommend the Boondocker converters.

I did not install a new converter. I’m not there yet. It was a balance of costs and needs. We already have two generators and didn’t need to upgrade batteries.
